Coban Sewu Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Java Island and Indonesia. This Waterfall has a unique formation because it has a widening water flow like a curtain. This waterfall has extreme adventure like Madakaripura Waterfall.

This waterfall called Tumpak Sewu that meant a thousand waterfall in Javanese because it flow of water from abovie is very much along the cliffs. Coban Sewu Waterfall location is inside an elongated great valley with an elevation of 500 meters above sea level. Coban Sewu Waterfall is formed in Glidih River which originated on Mount Semeru Volcano.
Coban Sewu Waterfall is a three hour drive Southeast of Probolinggo or mount Bromo. The waterfall is located on the outskirts of the village of Sidorenggo (and/or Sidomulyo), Lumajang Regency, in the highlands of East Java. Although it takes a long time to get to the waterfall the route is simple.

There’s not really much to see as you leave Probolinggo. The road is long and straight with houses and shops on both sides of the road. Once you enter the highlands you need to slow down. The road snakes in gentle and the landscape is covered in thick forests. It’s a nice drive and you pass through small villages and busy towns. Traffic can be a pain though as there are a lot of trucks on the road.

Than followed by viewing from below, walking along the river flow of the waterfall, along the road will be suguhi with views of waterfalls, along the river flow to the second spot of the waterfall Telaga Biru.
